Who I am
Hi! My name is Rachel, located in the Bay Area, and I'm a graphic designer who is passionate about drawing our fur babies. As a parent to three beautiful fur babies, they mean the world to me.
I have a disability called Nager's syndrome which is a rare condition that mainly affects the development of my face, hands, and arms.
I started creating art as a child in order to connect with others. It really started to take off when I attended community collage. I found myself wanting to draw animals because I always felt like they didn't judge me the way humans did. All they wanted from me was love and that's what I want too.

At first I drew animal toy figurines. I would set them up in position and take pictures of them. Then I would draw them with markers. As time went on, my skills got better.
I decided to try to draw on my iPad and it took awhile for me to transfer my skills of drawing on paper to drawing on a screen. At times I was frustrated because I couldn't figure out how my drawing app, procreate, worked. But as soon as a light went off in my head, I was on my way to learning how to draw real life pets.
I hope that I hear from you so that we can talk about me drawing your fur baby/babies.
My fur babies!
